It’s past midnight, and after consuming over a litre of coke this evening, I am wide awake wondering what the night will bring!! I felt rather flat this afternoon, so thought two coffees and some coke would keep me awake… and yes awake I am!! The kids have been asleep since 8.30pm, the cats gave up on me at 11pm and headed to bed themselves ~ so here I am all alone.
I love the evening… so quiet and peaceful… no one demanding anything from me, just ME and my own company. I love it! I have time to ponder and think without being interrupted and not wondering what it was I was thinking about in the first place! Can anyone out there relate to this, even slightly.
I have eaten a whole bunch of grapes without anyone wanting any. I have planned my day tomorrow down to fifteen minute intervals, set the table for breakfast, I have surfed the net for hours, facebooked and chatted to old school friends and reminisced. How I love time for ME!!
Alas ~ no sleep in tomorrow, I have kids to get up for school by 7am.
As Benjamin Franklin once said ”Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.”
~ Maybe that was before Coke was invented…lol… night all
Wow ~ I am now officially a Blogger ~ another title that I hold other than housewife, grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, friend, wife, lover, and teacher aide.
I am hoping to gain further knowledge of people and places here, meet new people, and express myself.
I am a 41 year young woman who has four children. My oldest daughter Sammy is 20 and she lives in Perth with her husband Dan, and their daughter Charlotte who turns three next January. They are expecting baby no 2 in March, and I am so excited about this. Unfortunately they live a long way away from where I live in North Queensland – Mackay. It really is tugging at my heart strings and I would secretly love to just move my new home and family over there to be closer to them.
My next daughter Kim is 18, still lives at home and works in child care. Kim has a charming boyfriend Josh, and we are blessed to have him in our lives.
I also have a son Brock, who has Aspergers Syndrome… otherwise known at being a bad parent, or so it seems. Brock is almost fourteen and has some difficulty with communicating and following directions. He loves playing the sony, computers and enjoys riding his bike and playing on his scooter. He does not enjoy school.
Jenna is the baby at eleven years of age and loves to surf the net, listen to music, ride her scooter and can’t wait till she can have a mobile phone and a ripstick! Today she wanted fifty cents so she could call Lifeline, as she thinks her life sucks!!!
My three cats give me much joy and contentment. I am hoping to become a more positive person and make small changes to myself and my family.!
I have many issues I need to work on, overeating, lack of motivation, and itchy feet syndrome! I am hoping by blogging my progress about some issues will help me to move forward, and improve my writing skills. I secretly desire to be an author one day in the future. I wish to write some childrens books, and also a juicy novel with steamy sex scenes (my inspiration comes from The Bold and The Beautiful)… but I would pump it up a little…..lol.
Well it’s taken me a good few hours to set up this page and write this, so am hoping for some comments ~ any feedback will be most welcome. If there is anything you would like to suggest for me to write about – please do so, I will try my best.
So put your glad rags on and let’s begin this journey together…. Follow me….. xo
